ITEM #1: Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO)
Based on our P.A.C.K. meeting today the following ELO allocations were made by grade level:
Kinder: $ 2,577.72
1st: $ 4,296.20
2nd: $ 3,436.96
3rd: $ 3,436.96
4th: $ 4,296.20
5th: $ 3,436.96
6th: $ 3,436.96

Each grade level is to complete the application form which was emailed to grade level reps. The application does require specifics: intervention focus, program dates and times, students participating, who is implementing the program, etc.

Keep in mind that there is much flexibility in the plan:
Teachers may collaborate and implement interventions with other grade levels
Teachers included in the plan need not only be classroom teachers

Reminders:
Funding cannot be used for snacks or materials
K-4 must be a certificated teacher
5-6 may use paras but they must be paid hourly, not stipend, if during the school day
Teachers may use the option of curriculum rate or stipends
Para may use stipends if before or after school
Programs may be run before school, during school, after school

Plans are due to Arturo by November 9th.

ITEM #2: Curriculum Nights
Jo Ann requested, and the P.A.C.K. team approved that teachers who are interested in having a curriculum night/event be compensated for two hours (one hour of prep, one hour of presentation). This can include information about the curriculum as well as how parents can specifically support their children at home with learning activities. Please have parents sign in to document their participation in this event.
