Spring Writing Scores
We need to get out writing scores onto the spread sheet and emailed back to Miles--he emailed this about a month ago. He is thinking he may need to resend... don't forget to make a copy of the spring writing and put it in blue writing folders.
AR During Summer
There WILL be A.R. testing over the summer (just not from Monday until the end of summer.) The goal is to keep kids reading over the summer but not for them to reach their 1st trimester goal of next year by mid-June. We will know more about this soon. The PACK team decided to see if we can staff the AR with teacher volunteers and will check with their teams by Tuesday of next week. More to come on the schedule as it will be impacted with Summer cleaning.
Curriculum Blue Form
We need to inventory our Open Court materials and Social studies curriculum... Your PACK leader has the blue form that needs to be turned into Miles by next Tuesday (we can do this at our team meeting...) Under math it just says: Adoption Pending, so it looks like we do not need to document what we already have. (?)
Check Out Additional Items
We will need to turn in our white staff binder at the end of the year. It will be updated. Take anything out that you might want to keep. What come with the binder may be tossed.
The district has a new form that verifies that staff still have keys and badge upon check-out. Teachers can still keep them, just need to show them.
McTeacher Night next Fall
We are talking about doing a "McTeacher" Night next year. We would have to have teachers commit to working a couple of hours (free meal when done) and it was said that this is a huge fundraiser as the kids like to see their teachers work--plus the food is less expensive than The Ram, Famous Dave's, etc. Are we in?? Get feedback to Miles after grade level meetings.
PTA Receipts for Stipends
Did everyone turn in their receipts for the $100 PTA stipend? It's WAY late if not, but they are graciously honoring if you have receipts-but you must show the receipts...
Field Day
On Field Day (14th) Each grade level will wear a particular color (please ask your PACK rep what your color is.) This way we can pick out our kiddos easier...
Curriculum Mapping
Arturo is willing to pay all of us up to two days worth of curriculum mapping and working together this summer. (Woo Hoo!!) There will be a specific focus will include curriculum mapping for writing and more in-depth MSP. We will have to do this outside of Carson (yes, homes are ok), but he needs to be invited... We will be able to get into Carson if we need to get materials to work, but he will need to let us in. Check with teams to see if they are interested.
